Ministry Update

September – November 2004

Dear Praying Friends,

As we come to the close of another year, we are thankful for all of the blessings we have experienced in 2004. We have seen the Lord work in wonderful ways over the past few months, changing lives and stirring hearts to serve Him.

On the political front, we were blessed to see that the American people seem to be rejecting radical liberalism and all that it has to offer. Thank God for our President.

Liz and I agree that our greatest blessing in the past year was the birth of our daughter, Hope Victoria Rogers, on October 6th. Thank you for all of the gifts, cards, e-mails and prayers on her behalf. Everyone has been asking for more pictures, so we have several new baby photos on the website. We will try not to inundate you with baby pictures too often, however, sometimes she's just too cute!

We have had a busy Fall season criss-crossing the country, singing and preaching the Gospel. What a privilege to be a small part of the work of God and especially to do so as a family.

In September, we had meetings in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Virginia before we decided to stay a little closer to the house as we awaited Hope's arrival.

October found us staying pretty close to the house and enjoying the company of visiting family and friends, but by the end of the month we were "itching" to get back on the road! We had great meetings in Ohio, Indiana, Florida and Pennsylvania during November. Hope traveled like a seasoned professional.

As I write today, we are on our way across the country to meetings in the Northwest and Christmas celebrations with family. As you come to the close of 2004, I trust you can look back on the blessings and be thankful to the Lord just as we are, and prepare for even greater things to come.

No doubt, 2005 will bring all kinds of challenges and difficulties, but those things are simply an opportunity for God to work. We have a great God!

Prayer Request

Please continue to pray for Liz's mother, Mrs. Dorothy Paisley. She is in the process of going through radiation and chemotherapy. For those of you who have gone through that process, you know how unpleasant it can be.
